Oh how fast they grow! Maggie celebrated one of Penelope's favorite activities with this swell soiree: I threw my daughter a 'Just Stay Little Dress Up Party' for her 3rd birthday. She loves to dress up so I threw her a party full of dress up fun.
I used Sarah Jane's Children at Play fabric for much of the decor. I cut out the little dresses on the fabric and used them as cupcake toppers as well as pinned them to a clothesline. I made Penelope a party dress out of the fabric as well. As take home gifts I made each little girl a hair clip using the fabric in the party colors, aqua and pink. Kids activities included 2 bins of dress up clothes, decorating their own paper dolls and disguising themselves with felt mustaches, glasses and lips on a stick! All the food was 'mini' to go along with the 'Just Stay Little' theme! Fun!!!
Thanks Maggie, Readers, Penelope's party is splendid - check much more of it out on Maggie's blog Smashed Peas & Carrots.

I love this pink and blue color combination! It reminds me of cotton candy.
Adorable. And love the name Penelope. :)
Really like this. Saving for future ideas for my soon-to-be-born baby girl.

Well done mom.
