Like most 3-year-olds, Isobel loves fairies so it was a given that her birthday party would be a Fairy Garden Tea Party.

We got beautiful vintage invitations from a friend's new business Billy Lids invites to start the ball rolling. Next, Isobel chose a pink rainbow cake with ruffle icing from a Donna Hay kids party magazine and I made the cake bunting to go on top. She loved it!

There was lots of pink of course - paper lanterns, pink jelly, streamers and teacup biscuits. I found the instructions for the marshmallow toadstools on Pinterest and loved how they turned out. We made biscuits in the shape of teapots and tiaras and the kids decoarted them. A fairy came to do face painting and we played musical statues and pass the fairy wand. The kids had a fabulous time and I enjoyed putting it all together!
