Name: Marti (5)
Location: San Diego, CA
For Marti's 5th birthday she chose a flower theme. We decorated the walls, the tea party table, the invite and the goody bags with cut paper flowers. When the guests arrived, the moms, big sisters and grandmas got to work making daisy chains while the girls had their hair decorated with flowers.
The second activity was to make bouquets from fresh flowers and choose ribbons to decorate them with. The girls, wearing daisy chain crowns and flowers in their braids, then posed for photos holding their newly made bouquets. Lunch was a tea party with butterfly topped tea sandwiches and marshmallows styled into flowers. Each girl got their own flower petit four cake. Lunch was followed by a butterfly pinata and a "Pin the Fairy on the Flower" game, both in the garden.
Thanks Carmina!

Too funny, as in, ironic. I was thinking about a May flowers theme for my daughter and her cousins birthday just this week! Thanks for sharing!
That is quite truthfully the cutest blowing-out-the-birthday-candles photo I've ever seen.
And the flower theme is so cute! I love how happy and open-ended it is. :)
Love the party and photos
I'll echo @kellystokes. What a great picture of Marti blowing out her candles. I love her grasping that ice cream cone. :)
Love the candle blowing pic. Sweet party.
So simple yet creative! Of course I wouldn't expect anything else from my exceptionally artistic friend :)
I agree with the above posts about the picture of her blowing out the candles - one of the best ever taken!
