Kaylee gussied up the garden for her daughter's lovely party. She shares: The birthday girl, Alliya, has always been a very girly girl. So when she requested a garden birthday party for all of her guests dressed up in frilly pettiskirts and sparkles it was no surprise.

We draped 100's of yards of vintage lace from the trees, that we picked up for a few dollars at Goodwill! We thought that there could never be too many garlands hanging from every angle. Our party favors were little white elephant and piggy banks from the dollar store. We set the long banquet table out with linens and candles and a few dozen pink peonies we got from the local farmers market for an amazing $3 a dozen. The girls had the best time with crafting jewelry and our DIY pink and yellow hot air balloon pinata. (from Martha Stewart.com)

As Alliya's mother I feel like I want to go all out & have a great time designing and styling her little parties since she is my only girl and is growing up so fast before our eyes! (p.s. We had an adult dinner party later that evening because all our friends also wanted in on the party!)

Thanks Kaylee! Readers, you can find Kaylee at Kaylee's Studio where she sells vintage-inspired photo props and La Rose Couture where she sells vintage-inspired hair accessories.
