Alisaa & Greta (both 6)
Los Angeles, CA
Jane and I are BFFs and our daughters are too, so it only made sense to throw them a joint party 'just for fun' during summer vacation. The girls decided on a Lalaloopsy theme and everything was homemade from the food we served (button pizza, quesadillas, fruit cones-for the kids) (caprese sandwiches, chinese chicken salad- for the adults), to the decorations to the goody bags and games. Our daughters dressed up as their favorite Lalaloopsy dolls, and the rest of the day just flew by with fun activities.
For activities we made headbands with buttons the girls found during a treasure hunt, decorated button cookies, pinned the flower on Mango Tiki Wiki, and had face painting so all the girls had the Lalaloopsy lashes and cheeks.
For goodie bags which were homemade Lalaloopsy faces on the front of canvas bags, we filled them with crayons, a homemade coloring book, bookmark, and all the goodies they collected throughout the day.
All the girls had a blast and went home with both fun and useful goodies which was one of things we wanted to accomplish.
Thanks Deborah & Jane! Readers, you can see much more of this party on My Life at Playtime in posts I, II, & III.
