A kick butt party for a kid who's kicking butt - go Cooper! Jenny explains: This party is for my very special son, his name is Cooper. He just turned 4 this May. You see, Cooper is a very special kid. He is well-known to be one strong and very brave kid. In fact, he is pretty popular in town and on Facebook as he has his own fan page with friends from all over the world who follow his progress as he is currently going through chemo and fighting and kicking Leukemia in the butt right now.

Cooper has gone through SO much this past year. He was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL last summer in July 2010. He has been going through chemo since and we are so grateful to share that he is in remission. But chemo continues throughout the next few years of his life as he heads towards 100% recovery.

So as you can see, for a 3-year-old kid who has gone through this much in life, he definitely deserves the BIGGEST, GREATEST and most FABULOUS party in the whole wide world.

That's exactly what I wanted for him. So this year, Cooper told me he wanted a "Lego Ninja'Go party". So, off I went with my creative brain as a photographer and graphic designer mommy, I had to make this extra special for him. Lego Ninja'Go is like every toddler boy's addiction right now. It's all about the Legos and Ninjas.

So we threw him an asian-themed Lego Ninja'Go party in our backyard. We had a big jumpy house, ordered an ice cream ninja cake, had ninja cupcakes, made rice krispy sushi, had ninja cakepops, lego cookies, ninja power water, and yummy goodie bags with ninja toys and fortune cookies for everyone to take home.

Thanks Jenny! Readers, check out Cooper's Facebook page,"A Diary for Cooper" and see more of his party here.
