The dessert table consisted of three flavored milks in carafes (plain, strawberry and chocolate), and different cookies (animal crackers, black & whites, chocolate chip, snickerdoodles and macarons). Once I decided on the pastel color palette, I used cupcake liners as decoration on the cupcake tier, and the Ikea kids little pastel glasses as table decoration. I made the mini flag bunting for the rainbow cake and inside - surprise- were the pastel colors! All the guests loved it! I used chalkboard labels for the kids' milk bottles - those were the party favors. The kids had aqua paper straws and the adults had pink paper straws. The guests got to take extra cookies home - and we had so many leftover!
Thanks Rachel!

This is so lovely and sweet! Perfectly simplicity for a first birthday, but still completely charming! Great job!
Darling party from "E" to "S!". I love all of the fun details. Where did you find the kids milk bottles? So cute!
thanks for the sweet comments on my party! nina - i found the milk bottles on etsy - the shop name is "pinklemonadeparty". just don't put them in the dishwasher...i found out the hard way!
this is adorable! i love the simplicity and sweetness of it all.
nina--we did milk bottles at my son's 2nd birthday, but we just bought a case of those starbucks frappucino drinks at costco and removed the labels. (but you have to be prepared in advance...i sent my husband to work with one everyday for 2 weeks so the bottles were empty by party time!)
