For my son's 3rd birthday party, we had a mustache bash with all of his friends! I'm not really sure how we were inspired to go with this theme but once it was decided upon, my son was ecstatic about the theme and would tell everyone around him that he was having a mustache bash.
Along with their invitation, every kid was given a homemade t-shirt to wear to the party. Once they arrived, I painted a mustache on each kid. The party was definitely a labor of love and other than the cupcakes, everything (including the invitations) were made from scratch by me. We really didn't play any games but the kids had a blast playing together.
The kids ate homemade pizza with chocolate milk. I chose not to have a big cake and instead every kid got a cupcake with their own candle to blow out. My son told me later that it was the best birthday party ever! That was all the thanks I needed for all the hard work!

Wonderful idea and a great party it seems. I myself love parties where everything is not outsourced and there are personal touches to small small things!Great show Beka!
Timely since this is MOVEMBER! Mustache on.
Peter File? Is there a Peter File in the terminal? I repeat, Peter File?
Thanks indianmommy! It was a super fun party to host!
Thanks for spotlighting Tama's party Carrie!
The mustache obsession has got to be the stupidest trend ever. I don't know where it came from, but I can't wait until it finally goes away.
Geez, grouchypants! It's a kid's party. The kid in question liked it. You have to come in here and snub a 3 year old kid?
I was wondering what you put in the goodie bags and what activities were played??? By the way this is a wonderful party idea!
