Hoo loves to party? Janette devised decor and activities around owls for this fun party. She shares: My son loves owls at the moment so we decided to make his 2nd birthday party an owl themed occasion using a blue and green colour scheme.
I used white paper lanterns and made cardboard eyes and beak and wings to hang off the lanterns to look like owls flying around. Other decorations included tissue paper pom poms, bunting and I used wrapping paper cut into stripes to make a blue stripe background behind the sweet table.
The children took part in an owl hat making craft time. I bought white paper plates and cut out an owl shape and stuck on boggle eyes and attached string. Then the children had a great time colouring in the hats and sticking feathers on.
We also had bubble wands and pass the parcel. And the party bags were kept simple using white paper gift bags with gift tags made from owl scrap booking paper.
It was a really fun day.
