Best Kids Parties: Owls

My Party

Name: Laney (1)
Location: Dallas, TX

Look "whooo" turned 1! Laney's birthday party was inspired by a little pink owl in her room that she adores. We wanted to have the party outdoors and found a nearby gazebo to have it at. We had a friend make her cake and cupcakes with owls on them. We had her shirt and invitations custom designed (with her name on it). A friend of ours replicated the owl on her little cake. The stickers "Thank-you for coming to my party" on the favor bags are from Etsy.

We wanted the colors to be light blue, light pink, pink, apple green. We decorated the gazebo with balloons and the table with lunch food. We had bubbles and balls for the little ones and an "owl hunt" where each child (with the help of a parent) had to hunt for an owl which was hidden in the trees nearby. They were all under one so we kept it fun and simple. We had a great time and the party turned out so cute!

Thanks Melody!
