Name: Aidan, 2
Location: Connecticut
For Aidan's second birthday, we organized a puppy paw-ty loosely basked on the book If You Give a Dog a Donut. We set up a "barkery" with pupcakes, pupcorn, lollipups and bark.
For drinks we servevd bone-shaped sippy cups filled with apple juice. The kids all adopted their own stuffed animal dogs and colored with bone-shaped crayons. Fun was had my all.

this is really fun and couldn't be better timing...my almost 6 year-old wants a dog party. you've done all the work for me!
So cute!
When I first saw this post I thought it was a party for a boy named Barker (because of the photo of the barkerY bunting). I was like, 'What? Are people naming their kids after animal noises now?' LOL!
Aiden, however, is the cutest name!
Good job on the party!

Thank you SO much for the feature and for the kind comments above!
Where did you get the stufffed puppies from? Adorable. Love the whole party, great idea.
I love the idea of adopting the stuffed puppies rather than a regular goodie bag! It's a really cute idea with your theme, and it's something affordable but fun that the kids might actually value, rather than the typical junk food and plastic trinkets that become trash almost immediately after the party.
I totally agree with you about the favors. I also gave out dogbone shaped crayons and a paperback copy of the book. I got the stuffed puppies from Birthday Express!
