My inspiration for a Raggedy Ann party was a party I saw on a blog last year that I thought was simple, beautiful and I appreciated that it wasn't centered on a commercial "character" and had a lot of DIY elements.
I fell in love with Pinterest last spring and have been "pinning" ideas ever since. Almost every item I created can be linked back to my Pinterest board.
Thanks Amy! Readers, see more of this party on Wicked Awesome Weigands.

Do kids still know who Raggedy Ann and Andy are???
I had a Raggedy Ann party as a girl with an almost identical cut out cake in the picture. The red and blue make for a fun party.
I LOVE this! It's so unbelievably cute and classic. I just pinned the photo of the cake.
JMORRI26--My two daughters love Raggedy Ann and Andy. They have handmade Ann and Andy dolls, lap quilts, and dolly quilts from their grandma (with vintage fabric!), and we have several of the picture book adaptations which my girls both love. I'm planning to start reading the original stories soon.
I love your blinds. Where did you get them? We recently moved into a house that had no blinds or curtains. We bought cheap $5 vinyl mini blinds and one of our cats has been chewing the strings that attach them together and has destroyed half of them. These blinds are more flattering and maybe a solution to this problem.
Thanks! Home Depot, maybe?
LOVE the red, white and blue! So creative!
