While we really wish Sarah had somehow combined all these requests into a party, the theme that won out turned out quite nice. She shares: The boy requested a robot/animal dance party/dinosaur/kegger theme for his 2nd birthday party. In the end we went with robot kegger as robots seem to win out as his biggest current obsession, and with 25 two-year-olds running around, we needed a keg.

The large robot we hastily made for the entryway was a big hit, as was the coloring station, and robot cake which we purchased from Costco and decorated with fondant. The parting gifts were robot shirts we stayed up late nights painting which turned out quite cute. All and all, it was a 3-hour whirlwind hit!
