Best Kids' Parties: Robots

My Party

Name: Asher (1)
Location: Spokane, Washington

Asher's first birthday theme was robots! His room is decorated with robots and every month he has taken a picture in the same chair with his green robot, so it was only fitting that the green robot was featured front and center on the mantle. The decor was mostly obtained from Asher's room. I made the robot pendant bunting and purchased the "Happy Birthday" banner from Target. I also purchased the adorable "space cadets" party set from Meri Meri, which included cupcake liners, plates, cups, napkins, banner, and cupcake toppers.

The party was on a Sunday at 3:30 pm, so for food, I kept it simple and had easy finger foods - hummus with pita chips and veggies, sandwich wraps, chips and salsa, pirate's booty (Asher's favorite), cupcakes and ice cream.

Including the invites which were a free printable on "On to Baby" blog, everything was probably under $60. There were about 25 people that came and everyone seemed to have a great time, especially Asher!

Thanks, Megan!
