Name: Clara (1)
Location: Jackson, MS
Clara loves her weekly music class, so the studio was a natural choice to hold her first birthday party. We had a rock and roll theme and encouraged guests to dress the part.

The food was all themed (Chik Fil A nuggets were "one bite wonders," etc.). Clara's dad built a cassette tape beanbag toss and photobooth, the photobooth using bound-for-the-thrift-store records (the studio ended up keeping the hanging records for their window!).
We were so gratified to hear that adults genuinely had fun, but the best part was definitely that Clara had a great time.
Thanks Ginger! Readers, see more of Clara's party at Tales from the Zoo.

Shaw's Original Fir...
This is really cute
I clicked on this because the location is Jackson, MS - I live in Brandon! :)
Such a cute party! I love the record bowls.
Thanks, y'all! Sherrie, nice to know I'm not the only AT reader in town. We should start a club of some kind :)
I have a link to making the record bowls on the blog. They were easy, though a bit smelly (I did it at night after the baby went to bed, and aired out the room and oven afterwards).
