I haven't seen this movie, but Meredith's clever adaptation of it into a party has convinced me to. She shares: B loves sports and we happen to own one movie about sports: "The Sandlot". The kid loves it. Hello second birthday party inspiration!
We had friends and family over for S'mores, hot dogs, baseball cupcakes, root beer floats, and Baby Ruth candy bars. The kids had a blast running wild in baseball gear and throwing around baseball water balloons. I made a photobooth with masks of the characters faces for some funny photo ops. Everyone took home Cracker Jacks and B is still going on about his "beese-ball game" party and how much he loves "the dog beese-ball movie." Mission accomplished.

How have you not ever seen that movie? That's the only "sports" movie I'll watch. Although it isn't really a sports movie, as much as a coming-of-age story.
