My daughter, Charlotte, just turned 4! To celebrate I decided to do a tea party with a few of her friends.
She got a mini tea party set for Christmas and has just loved it. So I decided why not? The theme was set, now all I had to do was put it all together. I took the pendant from her room (that I made for her a while ago) and all of the papers I got on super clearance at a local craft store (that went out of business).
The large print was to cover the TV. It was printed at a local blueprint printer and only cost me $6. Tissue paper flowers were handcrafted using Martha Stewart's tutorial. Party favors are from Target's dollar spot and were 50% off. Can't beat that! I designed and printed my own stickers for the party favors and napkin rings.
I designed the invitations which was the most fun to do. My daughters name is also my hand calligraphy. I wanted super easy snacks for the food. I made pb & j and cut them out in circles with a cookie cutter. I dipped marshmallows in white chocolate colored blue and sprinkles. We also had raspberries, strawberries, cupcakes and jelly beans. The cake was made by swirling colored frosting in a swirl to make them look like roses.
Thanks Pauline! Readers, see many more photos of Charlotte's party on Sweet Muffin Suite.

So sweet! Great job! It's lovely and personal, and refreshing that so much was handmade without going crazy!
