This was a Lorax (by Dr. Seuss) themed party. Stella knew the book by heart, we all did, so we decided to throw a party and perform the entire book for our guests!

There was a large stack of cakes I desperately tried to get to look like the Lorax. I sewed beautiful hand stitched, stuffed felt birds that hung from the ceiling, and which later went home as party favors. Those were a huge hit. And as I mentioned, we put on a show! Stella was the Lorax, I was the narrator, and her dad was "The Onceler".
