Best Kids Parties: The Olympics My Party

In love with the Olympics, we decided our own Olympics games were in order! The timing for the party couldn't have been more perfect - smack dab in the middle of the real games!

We enjoyed eating cupcake torches, drank our fill of Gatorade, and played plenty of Olympic-worthy games. And, of course, there were medals and a medal stand for all to enjoy! Seriously, the next best thing to actually being at the games in London!

Our baby is about to turn 1.
While reading this post, it just occurred to me that we could throw him an Olympic themed b-day party in 2016.... The summer he turns 5. Given that I'm usually thinking about three days ahead of myself, I'm very proud that for the first time ever I'm scheming about a birthday party 4 yrs from now. Ha!

Thanks for the great post. Great ideas. Very memorable for the birthday kid, I'm sure.
