Best Kids Parties: Vintage Trains

My Party

Name: Ridge (3)
Location: Gardendale, AL

My son's name is Ridge and like most 3-year-old little boys, he is really into trains. And, of course he loves the popular Thomas the Train and Friends. And, don't get me wrong, I love Thomas too, but honestly didn't want the "Thomas the Train everything package". We were looking for a unique train party.

After searching and finding some good ideas through Pinterest and other blogs, we combined some ideas we found and some of our own and pieced it all together. It was a vintage train theme and we were really happy with the results.

Decorations included old train railroad maps, an arrival/departure board, old train engine pictures, cardboard train cars outside, a train track leading guests on our front sidewalk, and a few other decorations. I gave shout outs to all the blogs I found inspiration from on my blog: Vintage Junky, Maddy Cakes Muse, Martha Stewart, and Our Beautiful Life. And, the party was a huge success! My little conductor was super happy and had a lot of fun!

Thanks Sandahlyn! Readers, see more of Ridge's choo choo party at Here's Our Little Life.
