Here are some of our favorites from Etsy. The housing and graphics on these clocks is so charmingly retro — and they're a great way to add a bit of vintage style without dropping a lot of cash.

Love these! And they're selling like hot cakes!
Hmm. Those of us who used to be woken by that horrible noise every morning may not find them so charming. I was so happy when I got my first radio alarm clock.
But I agree they look nice.
Careful; there is a reason people give these up. I purchased a baby blue one to match my room. About after a month, it started to hum so loudly that I put it in the garage.
Love this trend, I've already got one of my own, it's a pretty salmon pink, it doesn't work though, thank goodness. I would HATE being woken up by an alarm clock in the morning. I much prefer a kiss and a cup of tea :)
you can see my lovely alarm clock here: http://bunniesandstripes.blogspot.fr/2012/06/hisnhers-vintage-clocks.html
I like the look, but I wanted something cheaper and more reliable. Target has similar looks for under $10. Note that these are loud -- you won't be able to keep hitting snooze if you have roommates.
Pro-tip: many of the cutest vintage clocks require winding. Even with the best intentions, you will probably not remember to wind it, or feel like it beyond the first few times. Always try to buy electric, unless they're purely for decoration.
I wouldn't go with the target one. I bought one of those under ten dollar ones from target and it drained my bats & stopped working within the week. I still have it because it looks really cute and might be convinced into trying another one but I'll probably look for other, more reliable sources. Anyone got experience with a more study double bell?
