Lots of storage in not so much space - Duravit seems to be focusing on the smaller bathroom these days - we saw several new storage solutions at their KBIS booth ...
...on Saturday. The set shown above is smart, with both open and closed storage, ample countertop space, matching shelves and even a small glass shelf on the mirror. Not a wasted inch.

We're excited to be installing a Duravit Fogo sink/vanity set in our tiny guest bath. It was one of the few options we found that had storage, looked awesome, and would fit in our miniscule footprint. Plan on a lengthy wait, 10-12 weeks, for delivery.
so much to see there!
Sensory Overload- to the Max!!
I spent most of Sunday there-
and didn't even make it thru the whole other half!
Hard to say if any "trends" stood out- lots of "green" stuff, but,...... the same manufacturer of a line of "green" bamboo countertops, was offering his beautiful "EndGrain" Teak Butcherblock CounterTops, direct from one of the most horrible Military Dictatorships in the world- Burma/Myamar!!!..
The other "trend" if you could call it that-was MUCH more interesting mosaics - patterns similar to the geometric patterns of Morocco, and Algeria, but more subtle color-ways......and less "busy" patterning.
I also noticed waaaaaayyyyy too many knob/pull displays, and waaaayyy to many Vessel Sink displays- 2 "trends" that I predict will end very soon (I'm referring to the Branch/acorn/seashell pulls/knobs- and the colored glass bowl vessel sinks)
Vitraform has some very handsome sink pedestals out again this year- one as a beautiful cylinder, illuminated within, making the translucent volume look pretty impressive!
Great Designs from Duravit.
Probably would not buy from them again.
You can find cheaper alternative from local craftsman.
Even if you are resourceful you can find a space saving siphon at your local plumbing supplier for a 1/16th of the cost. See photo link for example:

The plastic p-trap Duravit sells for 70.00 at most online retailers can be found for only 7.00 at any local plumber's supply store. I guess some people have tons of money to flush so it probably does not matter to find a cheaper alternative.
