This past weekend was Renegade Craft Fair — it was large and took several (fun) hours to get through, but we were really impressed with what was on display. Going to the fair is a great opportunity to find out about new up-and-coming designers, and see out what our old favorites are up. This year's fair was one of the best curated and highest quality we've been to yet. Check out some our favorite artists and crafts after jump
iamhome: Humorous homes goods such as a chalkboard scull, and lovely art for the walls like the reclaimed wood and tiny tree paintings.
Lisa Chow: Whimsical hand drawn illustrated prints, postcards, paper doll cities and jewelry, mostly inspired by and featuring surreal scenes, crowded cities, fairy tales.
Urban Posture: Bright, colorful and graphic home and office goods. We featured them before, but this year we really loved their eco-binders and eco-tabs as well as their produce bags.
Eco Elements: Clean, fresh and modern porcelain candle holders, planters and other decorative home goods in the shape of everyday objects.
Urban Analog: Laser-cut, technology based modern home accessories, the geometric candlesticks and planters were a real stand-out.
Bison Bookbinding & Letterpress: An eco-friendly print shop, graphic design studio, and bookbindery who uses vegetable-based inks, handmade and recycled papers, 19th century machinery and photopolymer plates.
Alapash: Scenic moss and succulent terrariums.
Amanda Joziatis: Screen printed place-based illustrations.
Trophy Club: Handmade wooden bike racks for the home.
Uncommon: Bright and clever lasercut wooden and bamboo objects including flowers, doilies, coasters and clocks.
The Elizabeth Element: Transforms wind damaged, fallen, and salvaged trees into sculptures and furniture with low-VOC finishes.
White Nest: Modern pillows and wall art using felt, fabric and lots of stitching.
Cordinated: Turns all those ubiquitous white cords into one-of-a-kind yarn wrapped cables.
Yellow Square Love: Quirky upcycled lamps made from a variety vintage home goods, toys and books.
Ekra: Handmade rugs crocheted from salvaged fabrics.
