The king of pillows, Thomas Paul, now also makes rugs. The three designs above are from his Tufted Pile Collection. They come in three sizes and are made from New Zealand wool.
Of the three, which rug do you think is the best bet for design longevity?

I think they are all "in right now!" and may look dated sooner rather than later. However, I think the "Love Birds" rug can better blend in with different styles and would have a longer life style wise.
I think the Buds in Orange has a more classic look, therefore, it may last longer. However, since the birds immediately bring this designer to mind, that may be another way to date the rug, as in, "Oh, that's a Thomas Paul, I remember when his stuff was everywhere!"
Design longevity? Buds in Orange.
My favorite (right now)? Feather in Plum.
And I agree with Lisa about the birds; they are such a signature of current Thomas Paul, that they will surely look dated in the long run.
