Q: When we watch TV we are serious. We enjoy lounging and make it an event (with popcorn!) in doing so. With that being said we got a huge couch to accommodate our TV watching requirements, however it makes the layout of our small space a challenge...
I am still struggling to figure out the best setup. Our place is not the easiest to fit furniture in. When you walk into our house you're greeted by a staircase which also impedes directly into our main living space, taking up one entire "usable" wall. Another wall is taken up by a bank of beautiful, but not really space practical windows, which leaves us with one truly blank wall.
The hardest part is the TV. On the one hand I like having the couch in front of the staircase more than putting the TV there, but with our couch size I had to get creative and move the dining table over next to the window. That leaves a funny space which the dining table was (I think the light fixture just hanging out bothers me the most). Putting the couch in front of the window isn't even an option. It sticks out and blocks the entryway. I could really use a second opinion! Many thanks! -Sent by Rebecca
Editor: Rebecca is my Good Questions hero for sending in such thorough photos illustrating her conundrum. Which is your favorite? Or do you have a dark horse Option 4 you'd like to suggest? Also, Rebecca, I'll be needing that couch if the hold I placed on Season 4 Game Of Thrones ever comes to fruition!
