We were excited to come across the Sheffield-based company M.M. Bell & Sons, who bill themselves as "specialists in presentation packaging". Normally, the sight of "custom" or "bespoke" in the description of anything sends us running for lack of funds; but according to World Of Interiors, Bell & Sons products start around $3 each, which is more than reasonable at any quantity...
We see endless possibilities for these boxes, especially for those of us who maintain collections. These slipcover cases would be a brilliant solution for magazine enthusiasts; even more so for obsessives who organize by color. A shelf of these in a bold shade (Hermés orange?), even an entire wall of shelves, would look amazing.
Bell's range of stock boxes (above) are the only items they readily keep in stock, and come lined in satin. The standard blue is gorgeous, and could be used to great effect in small stacks.
Sadly, no prices are listed on the Bell & Sons website, as all work is made-to-order, but inquires can be made here.
