Best Products Bristol Bumper Swatch Victoria

When we saw this we had one of those moments of “why didn’t we think of that?”. Bristol Paints have released Bumper Swatches– just like the little ones you get from the paint shop except these are A3 sized. Their size also means that you don’t need to buy an over priced sample pot and…

…You don’t have to paint samples on to your wall- just stick the Bumper Swatches up with some blu-tack. Currently they only come in 50 of Bristol’s most popular colours but at $3.50 each they sure beat a $14 sample pot. While this is a first here, a few companies in the US have them too. Have you used them? How do they compare?

This probably hasno merit, but I would still want the paint, to see how it came out on the wall, rather than the poster board-like stuff. I don't know why! It just doesn't seem like it would be the same (maybe the different texture of walls?)

Depends upon how well they're stored, whether they've faded, etc. And you can get sample pots for under $5.

Thanks. Next time I'm in New South Wales, Australia, I'll stop by one of their outlets. There's really nothing like finding about a great product that is readily accessible.

Benjamin Moore has these as well, at least for the Aura line. They are 2x2, same coverage area as their sample pots, and they cost the same- $3.99.

I used the Benjamin Moore ones while living in NYC, and they work great. I also highly recommend the Aura paint - so easy to DIY, and it blends into itself so you don't have to worry about painting unevenly. Definitely worth the few extra bucks!
