Goofing around on the computer one day, we came upon this lovely photo on smosch. (Our apologies for making you salivate.) It made us remember that in many places in Europe, you get your coffee drink in a simple glass like this one...
Off we went to IKEA, where the POKAL glasses are just 59 cents each. We love their weighty, substantial feeling.

the squat juice glasses make me giddy. they are perfect for two cubes of ice and a nice splash of bourbon.
I love mine as well. They are super sturdy (unlike other Ikea glasses I've had)...My only sadness was that I didn't see them at the Ikea here in Palo Alto. I've only seen them in Southern California.
