Humidity is important. Right now, with the humidity high, our only thought is about how to bring it down and make it more comfortable. You don't need a humidity meter to tell you its high. But just how high is it?
In the winter, New York apartments can get incredibly dry, leading to respiratory trouble, dry noses and sometimes nosebleeds (really!). We use humidity meters with clients to give them some idea of how dry their apartment is so that we can then convince them to get a humidifier and/or PLANT life, nature's own humidifier and air cleaner.
The secret campaign here is to get more plants into apartments, but knowing the humidity is a great way of getting a fix on the health of your home. MGR
