Classic. We first came across this rug in a cabin in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and thought that it was vintage, like the cabin. It centered the living room, right in front of the fire, and took tons of abuse, before it was simply vacuumed clean again. The secret? Wool. Braided from 95% virgin wool, these rugs last and last, while retaining a rich coloring that gets better with age. We were shocked when we found out that they came from L.L. Bean. The cost? $80 to $570, and they come in nine colors and seven different sizes. While the style isn't exactly W Hotel urban, this is a great rug to keep in mind. MGR
