My former boss, a gallery owner with excellent taste, introduced me to Luna Garcia's handcrafted pottery. For our wedding, she gave us this gorgeous serving bowl which has since become our favorite serving piece. Heavy, beautifully decorated, and just the right size for a large dish, it usually sits in the center of our dining table...

It's difficult to see in photos, but the Paella Serving Bowl is covered in raised white dots that give it a lot of tactile allure. (You just want to run your fingers over it.) These bowls aren't cheap, costing anywhere from $160 to $240 depending on the pattern, but they are heirloom ceramics. Great for a milestone gift, this bowl is sturdy enough to last a lifetime as long as you don't break it.

Each piece is created by hand, signed, and dated. Based in Venice, California, Luna Garcia ships UPS and wraps their pottery in Geami packaging. To see more of the available patterns and styles, click here. For product and ordering information, click here.
