Reduce, recycle, reuse. A few years ago we started using Preserve toothbrushes, uncertain as to whether it would be forever or not. We had been longtime fans of the Reach and a few other styles over the preceding decades, all of which collected in the back of our medicine cabinet. We still use Preserve and appreciate it more than ever. Designed to be a very good toothbrush as well as totally recyclable, the Preserve was the first product developed by Recycline, a Massachusetts company that has sought to stimulate the use of recycled materials and to help assure the success of our country's recycling efforts.
Each brush is made of recycled Stonyfield Farm yogurt cups and is 100% recyclable. You can find the brushes sold in stores, but we prefer to subscribe online to their online subscription program that sends you a new toothbrush every few months (you decide how long) along with a postage paid envelope in which to send back your old one (it's only $13 for every 4 brushes - children's model at left). It's a good idea and the brushes look better in your bathroom than all the latest superhero/techno/muscle brushes that are available nowadays. MGR
