Just came back from Brooklyn, where I was being shot with a selection of five smallish modern sofas that I'm reviewing for Dwell Magazine's Small Spaces Issue coming up in September. The set was HUGE and the photographer was a fellow named Jim Bastardo, who shoots all of DWR's catalogs (very nice). Small world. I took some pics (which are a far cry from the ones that Jim took), and will only show you only one sofa. Can you guess what it is? Can you guess the other four?

Small space issues are often the best. Over the last couple of months, I enjoy Dwell again. I read them when they started, I stopped for a long while (reading 1 or 2 issues a year) and now, it is part of my favorite again.
