I'd never heard the term "swing-arm pendant." Shouldn't a pendant hang, in which case, I'm not sure if this one or several above count. But, here goes. This would be great in a kitchen or over a breakfast nook.

I found this gorgeous one from Svenskt Tenn right after I finished this post: V2484.
Budget is $90...try half that.
I keep thinking I am going to DIY a version of the Gus Modern swing arm lamp...Gus Modern
My Flos 265 is extremely versatile. It hinges at the shoulder, well as the elbow.
Mounted high on the wall, I can bring the lamp directly underneath the wall mount, or extend it seven feet from the wall (or anywhere in between).
It's expensive though.
I love the Jean Prouvé's Potence Lamp. That is on my "if I win the lottery" list.

I like almost all of Affordable Lamps' swing arm lights but the "Tay Tay" is my favorite. I even wrote a blog post about the Cyprus LED swing arm light.
I really love the way that a slight change in the swivel of a lamp design changes the entire feel of the lamp. The longer the arm is, the more of an imbalanced feel, even discomforting (like the first lamp), but by shortening it, the lamp appears more relaxed.
