Q: I was wondering if you or your readers had any advice on moving out of state/buying a house. The last time we did was thirteen years ago, and we were moving from one apartment to another, so it was relatively easy. Now we're looking at selling our current house and moving 800 miles away, and I'm not sure how to start.

My husband can go ahead of the rest of the family and stay in an apartment until we sell this house and join him, and then we can look for a house. Or we can all move over at once while this house is for sale and move into a temporary rental, or go on a quick trip to find a house and THEN move, or, or, or... There are a lot of choices!

Anyway, some advice would really be appreciated. Thanks!
