Q: I just moved into my new apartment a few weeks ago. It's a bit older and I've been finding myself having to run cables all along the floorboards in order to get the room to feel right. The result is what you see here. What do you think the best looking solution to hide those running cables?
By any chance would you be located in the UK? If so, you can grab this discrete cable management solution sold by Maplin that basically adds a layer of molding onto your floor boards so you can run cables there. It's relatively cheap, too.
Another great solution are the Wire Raceways we reviewed a while back which run for $8-15. These have the benefit of featuring custom-built corner pieces that allow for a clean and flush look while running the cables.
Hopefully that gives you a running start. If you have more tips, share them in the comments!
