(Welcome to Bethany, one of the finalists in our San Francisco Blogger search.
Spring will come again…‘til then get a dose of floral inspiration from Golden Gate Park’s Conservatory of Flowers.
I am always inspired by folks such as SF’s own Victoria of sfgirlbybay.com, who are able to turn a little patio space into an urban retreat.
The Conservatory’s Potted Plants Gallery is sure to inspire those of us with limited backyard space (ie: patio). Get ideas for your own urban retreat or check out one of the upcoming exhibits. For the entire month of February, the Conservatory is celebrating the Lunar New Year with plants sure to “boost all visitors’ chances for good fortune and wealth in 2008” and who can’t use a little more of that!
Visitors Info:The Conservatory of Flowers is open Tuesday - Sunday, 9am - 4:30pm (last entry is at 4:30pm, Visitors must leave the Conservatory by 5pm)
The Conservatory is closed Mondays
The Conservatory is closed on all Holidays except Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.
Please note that on Sundays and all major holidays, Golden Gate Park closes many of its roads to all vehicle traffic
