Spring will come again…‘til then get a dose of floral inspiration from Golden Gate Park’s Conservatory of Flowers.

I am always inspired by folks such as SF’s own Victoria of sfgirlbybay.com, who are able to turn a little patio space into an urban retreat.
The Conservatory’s Potted Plants Gallery is sure to inspire those of us with limited backyard space (ie: patio). Get ideas for your own urban retreat or check out one of the upcoming exhibits. For the entire month of February, the Conservatory is celebrating the Lunar New Year with plants sure to “boost all visitors’ chances for good fortune and wealth in 2008” and who can’t use a little more of that!

I love this place! I've seen their CHOMP exhibit twice, and hoping to come back.
thanks for the post Bethany. Would love to do more patio (or in my case window) gardening
i keep forgetting to ask them about their policy on photoshoots....it's an AMAZING place.
As a fellow AT:SF blogger finalist and a long time employee of the Conservatory of Flowers, I felt compelled to comment!
Thanks for blogging the COF Bethany! Good Luck!
p.s. Aside from our special exhibit, we have a collection of rare/exotic tropical plants--most of which would not survive outside in the bay area climate.
Love the inspiring pics! My own patio needs some tlc. I am off to the COF for some more ideas!
Thanks Leah! Lucky! What a fun and beautiful place to work! This weather has been making me think it's spring already! Perfect for more exploring of Golden Gate Park!
Been to SF many times but missed these beautiful gardens. Thanks for the info Bethany. So beautiful!
