Ring the alarm and begin the countdown: A Melbourne tower inspired by Beyoncé has gotten the green light.
Australian firm Elenberg Fraser won approval for the skycraper, called Premiere Tower, that will house apartments as well as a hotel and retail space.
The building's curvy exterior was inspired by the video for "Ghost" (from Bey's self-titled 2013 album) and its fabric-wrapped undulating dancers. Not only is its shape flawless, the "complex form" more effectively redistributes the building's mass.
