It can be hard to find decent white wood furniture. It seems white wood dressers are either Shabby Chic style (think distressed and very feminine) or designed for a small girl's bedroom or nursery. But sometimes a white case piece is just the thing to lighten up a room and show off the surrounding colorful wallpaper, textiles, lamps or accessories.
Many of the dressers below were found at retailers specializing in furniture for baby and children. But they would look just as good in a grown-up room.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Thanks! I needed this.
eh... I don't categorise wood and particleboard as the same. The IKEA Mandal is lovely, and mostly made of wood, but the Nyvoll is particleboard and really, really cheap rubbish when you see it up close. It sure is lovely though!
Do yourself a favor and don't go near the Nyvoll. We purchased it in grey and had an assembly service guy come to put it together - who did a superb job with our Expedits etc. Nyvoll is so cheaply 'made' out of composite wood (compressed sawdust) and veneer that every time he tried to attach any of the metallic fittings, drawer rails etc the whole thing crumbled and cracked. Completely and utterly useless. Hired another van to take it back to Ikea - in pieces - and could only get store credit since it was 'partially assembled'. I don't expect a lot from Ikea but for $300 this was pretty outrageous. Stay away...
