Ahh, spring! The time of year where the city emerges from hibernation, just itching to get outside and enjoy the weather. It's also about the time I start to consider purchasing my first post-high school bike. And I'm not the only one with bikes on the brain. There's bicycles in my mailbox! Here are some bike-themed finds from this season's catalogs:
1-3. Please tell me I'm not the only one who still browses through PB Teen! I can't help it, there's so much cute and colorful stuff. Like these 3-D wall decals! Don't you just want to hang your helmet on those handlebars? And the bike gear lamp base could work in an industrial loft just as easily as a 15 year old's bedroom.
4&5. CB2 is not only using bikes in decor, they're making bikes now! Featured in the Marketplace yesterday, this bike is a gorgeous collaboration with Republic. The women's version comes with a skirt guard, which is something I didn't know I wanted or needed until right now. I love the bright, Picasso-meets-kid's art look of this pillow, and a portion of the sales goes to Creativity Explored.
6&7. Uncommon Goods is great for quirky gifts, and there's a great selection of fun stuff made from recycled materials. This bike chain bowl and gear clock are perfect for the bike lover in your life.
