Billy Bookcase Gets A Faux-Rock Makeover

Jan from Germany was tired of her basic Billy bookcase from IKEA and decided to try her hand at a little DIY. What once was a cluttered bookshelf became a Marshall amp with a little fabric and a piano hinge!

The contents inside are hidden away from the public view and creates a calming presence in the room instead of the visual clutter that multiple forms of media creates.

Although we're unsure as to why a faux-amp was the look that was chosen, we have to say we rather like it. Assuming there's more music in the house elsewhere, it will blend right in. If not, it's still a great option to disguise a big ol' Billy!
