Have you ever wanted to escape into the woods and live in the fresh outdoors? Well, this might be taking it even one step further! Check out this great Birch Tree cabin located in Kassel, Germany, a project of a Finnish group of students from the University of Art and Design Helsinki.
Inspired by the birch forests of Finland, this Maarit birch tree cabin exemplifies charm. Made with untreated birch wood, the cabin evokes cozy memories of old barn walls and log cabins. Regardless of its practicality, I would want to spend at least a week reading and drinking cocoa in this magnificent little space!

I just love this! In Denmark is Saunas a bit off 70's, but this is really nice.
Interesting. I like the "siding" but not the roof so much -- the pattern of the bark is a bit much, there. (Maybe if it were moss and bark from another kind of tree???) And I love the interior walls, but I hate the 2x4 furnishings. So a mix, for me.
Before staying in there, I'd pop on over to IKEA and get a Klippan to throw in there. I would want a couch.
But it's very cute otherwise!
