The owner of Georgetown Birdcage says she doesn't collect birdcages herself, but the five in her store made us think about how neat a birdcage collection might be. To start your own rustic grouping, like this one seen in Living, Etc., here are more we found around town, and online.

Love.
I love birdcages, I've gotten some really neat ones from thrift stores, and they are really great to hang in front of windows and keep plants in.
Where is that dining room table from?? Love that
I've seen this trend all over the DIY/home decor blog world and I have a hard time grasping the lure of Victorian bird cages with no birds. It's an odd trend (along with cloches) that baffles me.
@LizinCO: I think perhaps it's the inherent forms of the birdhouses and the cloches, at least for me! They're almost sculptural. And both lend themselves to pairings with other loved objects.
The sixth one would look nice in a garden with some sort of flowering vine inside it.
