Black is back. As one part of the Rocco-plus-Victorian resurgence (silhouettes, gilt, tassels, tin ceilings) we're seeing a lot of black glassware, first from Rosanna and now from Juliska. A nice counterpart to white everyday china, we think. A little bit Alice in Wonderland, even.

We inherited a huge collection of black fiestaware from our old landlord, including a teapot, butter dish, and art-deco style candleholders. They look amazing used for parties.
LOVE black tableware. I did a post on the same thing for Washington Spaces Magazine, including the Juliska glass. Timeless and elegant.
Very elegant.
glad to hear it- especially considering my large collection of black amethyst lol
Food looks great on black dinnerware.
