Why must someone comment about "dead animals" on every single hair on hide rug?

I think the dead animal is dead, too. With seemingly endless possibilites, why???? (Now, maybe if your grammy's old fur coat makes luxe throw cushions.... But otherwise, it's cliche.)

This room looks like my dentist's waiting room. I don't like the cow rug either.
