Black and white is a good ol', go-to combo when it comes to decorating your place in a strong, classic manner. Here, we've gathered examples for every room that would look particularly great in a man's home:
A little color, as in the living room image above, goes a long way when introduced into a black and white room. The green sofa here speaks volumes.
Blocky black furniture contrasting with a white room, as in the dining room above, is a strong anchor, which works particularly well in defining this dining space in an open plan. Have you seen a man's home decorated successfully with predominantly black and white? What do you love about this strong combo?

Sprout Side Table
Hi, I would like to know where I can find the green sofa in the picture or something similar, it is the sofa I've been looking for months!
Many thanks!
I just painted my dining room grey/blue with thick white trim and a black table and chairs.
Black and White never goes out of style...
...but it's certainly not a "Man" thing: Think of black and white toile bedrooms...
Poor men. Having to live with no color....
I'm just commenting on the current "male" and "girly" color trends lately. Annoys me no end on design shows when the man of the house gets scared of any shade of pink or rose, but the woman enthuses over his choice of some kind of blue.
The color coding of babies came from a 1930's ad and now is treated as if it came down from the mountain with Moses.
In room # 2, I'd do my bedroom like that with splashy hot pink accents. Just a few.
Room #3 makes my heart sing. Wish I could live like that.
I love love love the first one... I am a huge fan of black and white with large bursts of colors. The next three are very classic and pretty, but a little boring for my taste, as I do love color, the last one is a bit too sterile for me... Very catalogie.
Love that green sofa
I prefer less black and more white though. All that black makes the room too dark.
