"Another blackboard wall?" If that's how you're feeling when you read the title of this post, please humor us a second. Because we think you'll love this as much as we do. In the gorgeous contemporary home of Smorgasbord Blog, a blackboard surface was added front and center on the dining room wall:

It's a place where the childrens' artwork becomes the star of the show. The difference between this display and most blackboard walls is that this one has a big, open border on the wall. It appears as a canvas instead of an entire wall color. We love this execution as a way to display a rotating variety of your childrens' work.

A step ladder (not seen here) is pulled out when the young artists are ready to create a new masterpiece. Read more about the project at the source: Smorgasbord Blog.
