Creative Women was started by Ellen Dorsch as a way to create jobs for women in Ethiopia and Swaziland, as well as to introduce the textiles of their cultures to the West. We really love these blankets, not just because of the quality of the craftsmanship but because of the mission of the owners.

They are not available to purchase on the website, but there is a list of retail locations provided, including a number of stores in San Francisco.
