Blik Artist Series Wall Decals

It's been awhile since we last checked in with our friends over at Blik (some of you longtime readers might remember our Blik Your Walls contest and giveaway), and we found ourselves reminded about them by Misty's DIY wall decal Home Hack this morning. So we thought we'd check in to see what was new. Lo and behold, there's plenty new, including one of our favorite local Los Angeles artists, Saelee Oh, represented in the new line of decorative wall decals.

For those who rent or are averse to painting, wall decals can be an easy and affordable way to adorn your walls or any other surface (adorn the back of plain chair or create a faux headboard). It's a whole lot easier than painting or purchasing the real thing, especially if you've got a modern colour scheme and furnishings, which these sort of pop graphic wall decals best complement.

Most of the graphics are admittedly youth-oriented, with some outright designed specifically for kids rooms or nurseries. But we noticed many of the newer designs are veering toward artists' designs instead of just graphical elements. Add a large frame around these pieces and treat them like prints and you've got instant wall art. They're not for everyone for sure, but for those looking for some art adornment at a reasonable cost from the likes of artists Sam Flores, Hannah Stouffer, Saelee Oh, Jeremy Fish, of Montreal, and Amy Ruppel will have plenty to choose from.
