We love prefab here. So this made us smile.
It's like a Mini-Me version of Michelle Kaufmann's MkLotus -- and wouldn't a prefab dog house be sort of green-ish for all the same reasons a true prefab home is? Just on a much smaller level?
That's sort of the idea behind Jason Valalik's prefab dog house concept, which we just found featured on Bark magazine's web site.
And, before you get too excited, Jason isn't selling the houses yet. He hopes to start selling the plans (so that we can make them ourselves) and eventually would like to sell the houses as a kit. The framing is made with oriented strand board and the exterior is covered with painted cement board and IPE, an "eco-friendly" wood that naturally resists rot.
Check out Jason's post on the subject.
What do you think? Silly or just what you've been looking for?
